Hanging in there
We've been having a series of illnesses around our place the last few weeks. Sam stayed home from school awhile ago and today Meg is home. Erik has been having chronic migraines for the last 2 weeks without any relief. I feel so bad for him. I wish I could wave my wand and make them all better. You would think as a nurse I would have them all in tip top shape!! Haha! If they all did exactly what I told them I'm sure we would all be perfect(: Nothing a nice bowl of homemade chicken soup and a good nights sleep can't help with! Because I was having fun with Meg home (I miss her when she goes to school) I forgot to take Kate to school until my friend Merrilee called and asked if Kate was home from school too? Ooops! I told Meg to not let me forget to pick them up! Can I blame the last 8 weeks of pregnancy? I'm hoping to find my brain again soon!

Just another day in Pleasanton
I sat outside today to watch Meg, Kate & Sam ride their bikes around the court we live on. It was so amazing to watch how the two oldest let Kate "win" and take "breaks" and tell them when to stop and go again. I was really proud of them. Even when they finally got tired of going slower than Kate they still tried to make her feel better by telling her she was still the champion etc. Of course Kate wasn't even riding her bike, she was on a radio flyer 4 wheeled no petals push scooter, which has to be the slowest choice she could have made. Meg was on a normal scooter and Sam was on Kate's training wheeled bike. It was such a beautiful day we were in short sleeves and jeans. There is something about the sun that makes you feel good and happy.
