New Discoveries

Here are some recent discoveries being made in our house these days:
Sam- OLD: How to catch a baseball with a glove.  NEW: How to catch a baseball with his face!  Noses tend to bleed for quite some time when hit with hard objects during baseball games.  Mommies can make it all better(;

Kate- OLD: How much she likes sugar in most forms.  NEW: White chocolate chips....apparently you can become addicted with just one bite!

Meg- OLD: How much she loves to sing.  NEW: Throw in make up, costumes and a Latin/Italian mix and it's EVEN BETTER!!!

Erik- OLD: Love to watch Meg's performances.  NEW: Erik likes Opera.

Alice- OLD: Over extending barbie legs breaks them off.  NEW: Yes paper doll's arms can rip off!

Tess- OLD: Her hands. NEW: Her hands. Yes, you would think staring furiously at her fingers for months would seem to get old...however, it seems like they are brand new everyday!!!

Creepy Halloween Fun!

 

So what do you do when you have the entire Halloween day off of school?  Why not explore the local graveyard with your siblings?  This is one of the coolest grave sites that I've seen in the area.  The tombstones are really neat and the names are from the families that our parks and schools are named after.   There are stories of the families posted around so it is interesting to read about where they came from and how they got to Dublin and what they did while they lived here.  Sam's scout troop had come here so he filled us in on the interesting facts that he remembered from his tour.  I love the trees and falling leaves all around the place!
