Alice has grown

Here is a more recent picture of Alice, she is so busy, just like all the other Johnson kids....so much to keep up with!  She is rolling over, front to back and back to front.  She is also grabbing at everything around her and very interested in food...oh how the kids have kept trying to put varying things "secretly" in her mouth.  She coos up a storm....again keeping up with all the noise around here!  She is an absolutely lovely baby.  She smiles all the time & only complains when she is tired or hungry and occasionally when she is placed in the car seat.  Erik keeps "working" on her sitting abilities.  She is getting better each day.  The bottom picture is when Alice was about a week old.  I put it on for comparison.

She HAS grown!!! She is adorable - who does she look like? Sam?? Like one of your kids - or perhaps they all look very similar and it is hard to say. She is a cutie - wish I could hold her. But no. Down with my cravings for a baby girl! :(

And YOU look great, by the way....!!!

P.S. Do you remember playing "Rosie on the Rock" at Brighton?? Just wondering... old memories - wish I actually could remember more things like that. Do you remember much? What we did, played when we were little - at Brighton, at Nana's etc.??

I remember playing in Nana's basement and getting stuck with pins and sewing things on the floor. I remember a baby kitten by the red shed near our Brighton cabin and watching it's mother take care of it. I remember eating so much watermelon one summer night at Brighton that I was literally sick and have just recently started slightly enjoying it again....30 years later! I remember playing pirates on the big rock/ship near the cabin and always being Rosie. I remember playing barbies in your basement and thinking you had the coolest "stuff" like a barbie staircase that moved! I remember reading Nana's romance novels not because of what we read, but because we got in trouble after. I remember trying out her makeup and her jewelry and shoes. I loved her walk in closet! I remember sleep overs in Nana's bed and her ending up sleeping on her couch downstairs since we moved around too much.
