The following is a conversation between Kate and her friend.
"Wow! Look at the pretty pictures!"
Kate proudly responded, "Yeah, my sister made them."
"She did a good job! These are real good!"
Kate's next response was very matter of fact,
"Yeah, she's an artist."

I DID read THE ROAD - most of it, but was pretty much skimming by the end. It was a hard, heavy read.
It did remind me of my dream in many ways.
I heard a movie is being made of THE ROAD and Viggo Mortensen will play the father. I love Viggo but don't know if I could watch what I know I'm going to see on screen. It will have to be rated R anyway.
