Kate without training wheels!

So Erik has been trying to get Kate to ride her bike without training wheels for months which really means that he took off her training wheels months ago and she hasn't been riding her bike since.  He has been telling me that she was ready but nothing was happening.  He would try to take her out and get her to do it but she just didn't want to.  Sam was really into trying to get her to do it too but that didn't seem to influence her at all.  Finally Erik bribed her with a PINK COOKIE...the kind they sell all over Utah but not here in California....the big sugar cookies with pink frosting and multicolored sprinkles.  Well as soon as she heard her potential reward she was on her bike and riding around our court with minimal problems!  I guess desire is the driving force behind my children's choices not our wonderful explanations or excitement about an activity/chore/event.
