Kate Turns SIX!

Wow! Kate is already six!  Can you believe it?  She started Kindergarten and BAM grew up over night!  She had a lovely SPA party with her friends, we had "tea" and cakes, painted our nails and had facials....so much fun in a few hours.  Happy Birthday Kate!  Don't grow up too fast!

Swim Team

Grandma Patsy these pictures are for you!  You remember the good old swim team days that you used to spend all summer cheering on your little Johnson swimmers.  The only thing that has changed is tech games that the kids play while waiting their turns!
Kate waiting for her relay to start with Grace.

Here she is doing her backstroke in the relay.

Here Kate is doing her breast stroke.  She seemed to always compete in this stroke and got 1st place in finals in her heat!

Nothing can be better than watching these little kids doing the butterfly!  Here Sam is taking a deep breath in finals.  This was the first time he actually ever competed in this stroke.

Meg ended up taking 6 seconds off of her time in her breast stroke by the time finals came around.

Meg ended up taking 2nd in her heat in finals!

Sam took 7 seconds off of his back stroke time during finals and took 2nd in his heat!

Game face on!  Sam waiting to start his race.

Meg in Seussical the Musical

Meg as Horton the elephant in rehearsals talking to Jojo the Who on a tiny speck of dust on a clover.
Meg has been practicing her songs and lines for the last 2 weeks.   Before the show even started Kate was singing along to the music...I think we all were!  I of course cried watching her perform beautifully.  She amazes me.  She loves to sing and act and anyone who is able to see her in action can tell she is great at it!
